Shipping Methods and Costs

Depending on the item(s) you purchase on www.sonic-sport.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be available. Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order.

At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). (Please note, some items may offer only one shipping method.) Shipping costs are dependent on the items in your order and the shipping method you select. Your total shipping charges will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order.

Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the weight of the total order. An order containing multiple items typically receives a volume-shipping discount and therefore your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual ship charges appearing in your cart. You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during Checkout.

Generally, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Third Day, or Overnight service, additional charges will apply). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by
12:00 p.m. (noon) EST or your order may not be processed until the following business day. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

Shipping Rules and Restrictions

  • Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
  • Please allow for additional shipping and handling time for all oversized items shipping via a freight trucking company. These items cannot be expedited. For more information regarding the delivery of your oversized item, call 1-914-962-8390 x13
  • You will not be charged for any item until it is shipped to you.

48 Contiguous United States

  • USPS Media Mail, normally 7-14 bus. days
    Most media items may be shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via USPS Media Mail service. You can expect your order to arrive within 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the
    United States. Media items include most books, music, films, computer-readable media and some other forms of printed media weighing less than 70 lbs.
  • Standard Ground UPS, normally 3-8 bus. days
    Most items may be shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via Standard Ground service. You can expect your order to arrive within 3-8 full business days. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the
    United States.

  • Standard Freight Delivery, normally 7-14 bus. days
    Some heavy or oddly shaped items must be shipped alone via a freight trucking company. Usually, Oversized Items arrive in 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Most Oversized Items leave the warehouse within seven full business days. (An estimate of when a product leaves the warehouse is indicated on the Product Detail page.)

Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Because this is a larger and heavier item, it can only be sent via ground freight; therefore, we cannot offer expedited shipping. The freight trucking company is not responsible for unloading the item from the truck or carrying the item into the building. Your item is likely to be heavy and large; therefore, we recommend that you have someone with you to help you unload the item and bring it inside.

  • Premium Freight Delivery, normally 7-14 bus. days
    Oversized items are heavy or oddly shaped items that must be shipped alone via a freight trucking company. Many oversized items on this site may be shipped via a premium delivery service called White Glove for an additional charge. If this option is available it will be noted on the Product Detail page and during Checkout. White Glove delivery charges vary according to individual products; exact charges will be noted during your checkout process. You can expect your order to arrive within 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the
    United States.

Items shipped via White Glove delivery will be delivered to your home, brought inside, and carried to the room of your choice within two floors of the main level (unless a service elevator is present). Please note that set-up or assembly is not included in White Glove delivery service. We suggest you save the itemĘs original box for a short time in case a return is required.


Alaska or Hawaii

  • USPS Media Mail, normally 7-14 bus. days
    Most media items may be shipped to
    Alaska or Hawaii via USPS Media Mail service. You can expect your order to arrive within 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Media items include most books, music, films, computer-readable media and some other forms of printed media weighing less than 70 lbs.
  • Third Day, normally 3 business days
    Most items may be shipped to
    Alaska or Hawaii via Third Day service. You can expect delivery within 3 full business days. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Please note, Third Day service is not available for shipments to some destinations in Alaska.

APO / FPO Addresses

  • USPS Priority Delivery, normally 3-8 bus. days

Shipping for Customized Products

Customized Products are shipped via Standard Ground Shipping only and cannot be expedited. The shipping time will vary depending on the product selected and the customization time needed. The product detail page will better identify the expected delivery time for the customized product you have chosen. Please note that business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

Oversized Items

Some heavy or oddly shaped items must be shipped alone via a freight trucking company. Usually, Oversized Items arrive in 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Most Oversized Items leave the warehouse within seven full business days. (An estimate of when a product leaves the warehouse is indicated on the Product Detail page.) Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Because this is a larger and heavier item, it can only be sent via ground freight; therefore, we cannot offer expedited shipping. The freight trucking company is not responsible for unloading the item from the truck or carrying the item into the building. Your item is likely to be heavy and large; therefore, we recommend that you have someone with you to help you unload the item and carry it inside.

An Oversized Item that is sent via a freight trucking company will usually arrive to your designated shipping address within 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Most Oversized Items leave the warehouse within seven full business days. (An estimate of when a product leaves the warehouse is indicated on the Product Detail page.) Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

  • The delivery company will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window.
  • Typically, there will be a minimum of a four-hour timeframe for the delivery and an adult must be available to accept, inspect, and sign-for the delivery.
  • The item will be delivered to your designated shipping address. The freight delivery company is not responsible for unloading the item from the truck or carrying the item into the building.
  • Your package is likely to be heavy and large; therefore, we recommend that you have someone with you to help unload the item from the truck and carry it inside.
  • The total charge does not include inside delivery, removal of cartons, or assembly.
  • White Glove delivery is available for some Oversized Items. Items shipped via White Glove will be delivered to your home, brought inside, and carried to the room of your choice within two floors of the main level (unless a service elevator is present).

When your order is delivered you should immediately inspect the carton for any potential damage that may have occurred during shipment. Carefully inspect the packaging as well as the contents of the package. It is normal for the carton to show some wear; however, if damage did occur follow these steps:

  • Accept the package, but make a note of the damage on the shipping receipt, sign and date it. The delivery person should also sign the slip and leave a copy for your records. Contact a Customer Service Specialist immediately by calling 1-914-962-8390 x13. Please have your order number available when you call.
  • If there is extensive damage to the carton, contact a Customer Service Specialist immediately by calling 1-914-962-8390 x13. Please have your order number available when you call.

Tax Policy:

Sales tax is collected for all orders shipped

 

Payment Policy:

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards on-line. Payments by check can be made by mail; contact us at (914) 962-8390 x13 if paying by check (your order will not be processed until the payment is received).

 

Return Policy:

There can be no returns of items which have been customized with letters, numbers, logos, or other artwork unless Sonic-Sport has made an error in your order. Our staff will verify all custom orders with you at the time you order, and it is important that you carefully review all artwork instructions. If you receive an item with no custom artwork that does not fit or is a color you don't like, we can exchange the item. If we've made a mistake on your order, or we don't have an item for exchange in your size or preferred color, we will offer substitute items or refund your money within 30 days of the day you contact us about the problem. If you have any other problems with your order, please contact us. We're here to help.   Please call (914) 962-8390 x13 for instructions.  There will be a $5.00 restocking fee for all returns.

Please note: Your must receive a return authorization number for your return, no shipping and handling charges will be refunded.  It is the customers responsibility to pay for shipping back to Sonic Sports.
